How to Make a Donation
Lutheran Community Care relies on donations from our supporters to provide services to people in our community through our core programs: Pastoral Care, Social Services, and Street Reach Ministries.
e-Transfer
Use the email donation@lccare.ca to send your donation.
If you would like to designate your donation to a specific fund, please indicate this in the note field of your transaction request.
To request an official charitable receipt after you have sent your e-transfer, send an email to donation@lccare.ca with your name and address.

Types of Donations
You can make your gift to Lutheran Community Care in a variety of ways:
General Gift
Make a gift as a one-time donation.
Monthly Gift
Allocate your donation quarterly or monthly.
Tribute Gift
Designated in honour or memory of a loved one or in celebration of a milestone event, such as a birthday or anniversary.
- If you choose to make a tribute gift, please indicate the honoree when making the donation.
- If you would like a Memorial or Good News package to make a donation, please contact us.
Legacy Gift
Make a gift through your will, life insurance, trust or other financial plan and leave a legacy that will help Lutheran Community Care provide caring serves for years to come. You have many choices for how to make a legacy gift and we would be happy to work with you and your professional advisor to arrange a gift that best suits you and your intentions. Tailor Your Donation
Unrestricted gifts are easier to manage and offer greater flexibility than program specific gifts. These funds represent a vital source of funding for day to day operations. More importantly, an unrestricted gift allows us to respond to the ever-changing needs by allocating money to where it is needed most urgently.
You can also choose to give based on what matters most to you, and direct your donation towards one of the following program-specific funds:
Provide the means for more hours of pastoral care for seniors in nursing homes and help us purchase devotional booklets for their own use.

Provide our Street Chaplain with the time and resources to develop long-term relationships with street-involved people in our city.

Enable our Social Services Worker to continue providing support in both Finnish and English to those who are in need of highly individualized support to live independently in the community.
