Housing Navigation

The Housing Navigator role at Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) focuses on providing information and resources to support the creation of unique, innovative, person-centered housing solutions that promote social inclusion and independence.

DSO Housing Navigation can help by:

• Providing a toolkit of information and resources that help you envision and create your housing and support plan
• Linking you with family support networks to exchange information and make like-minded connections
• Providing a list of services and resources available that are both ministry and non-ministry funded
• Sharing success stories of people on a similar journey

District Housing Resource Guides

The DSONR Housing Navigation Team serves both the Northern and North East DSO Regions. Housing Navigators have developed a District Housing Resource Guide (DHRG) for each of the following communities across Northern Ontario. These comprehensive resource guides are intended to help individuals navigate the housing and homelessness resources that are available in their area. The resources and information provided cover the full range of services and supports across the housing continuum.

These guides will be reviewed and updated periodically. The date of last update is on the first page of each guide.
